  A group of 5 of us came to have lunch around noon on a Friday. At the counter we purchased one 2 topping pizza, one 1 topping pizza, and 5 soft drinks. The large pizza had linguica and Canadian bacon. The medium was half pepperoni half sausage. The prices are high compared to Me N Eds, for example, but they do have an $8 Lunch special available. Also, there are bread knots, ice cream, a salad bar, and a few more items available. Any ranch, etc comes at an extra cost.
  The large pizza was cooked longer than the medium pizza. The crust was also thinner on the large vs the medium pizza. They also don't put any cheese on top of the toppings, but the pizza has plenty of cheese. I've previously had the salad bar, which had fresh ingredients. The ranch dressing is nice.
  Overall, the location is clean. They have a large staff. There are many arcade games and tv's. It seems to be busy most days and we saw many families enjoying this location.

  Unfortunately we tried to have dinner here tonight. I was told that I couldn't have purple onion on my pizza yet they have it available on the salad bar. We ordered a salad, pizza plus chicken and wedges. Great surprise when a pizza parlor served me chicken fingers and potatoes. Am I out of line to assume I would get fried chicken?
  
  Side note. Don't ever plan to watch football here on a Thursday because they don't pay for it.
  
  Prior to leaving I attempted to get a box from the 5 teenage girls standing at the counter talking. I had to interrupt them to be noticed and finally asked to talk to the manager Fransisco. Sadly he was the one that refused to make my pizza with purple opinion. I was told that if he called the owners they also would refuse to spend $.30 in labor to put onions from the salad bar on a pizza. Nice to know my pizza budget will continue to  be spent elsewhere. Won't return.

  Blamed the wrong pizza ingredients on the computer, put pepperoni on a vegetarian side....
  Order taker repeated order correctly but THE COMPUTER GOT IT WRONG..... ummmm no!!!
  And the smartly pants on the phone when I called  said "well that happened so what do you want?"
  
  Superb customer service.
  Going back to Rusty's Pizza 100%

  This was our first time at Tony's pizza. There was a long line at 6:30 to order our pizzas for our birthday group but the employees are super friendly and the line didn't take too long. We ordered pepperoni and combo pizzas. They were both delicious especially the combo pizza. The crust was just right with plenty of toppings on both pizzas. No soggy pizzas here. We took our birthday cakes with us and they accommodated us and brought us plenty of plates and utensils. They also have a nice salad bar and potato wedges. Go early if you can this place is good.

  I've loved Tony's pizza since I was a kid.  I remember walking over to Tony's in Delano for pizza, wings, wedges.  I've been dedicate lover of their pizza since the 80's.
  
  In stating that, today I place a web order and I have to say I was sadly disappointed.  I have eaten at their different locations in Bakersfield and have always walked away happy with the pizza and wedges.  Today I opened my order and saw my order of wedges...   Really??? The two orders I received would be less than one order of wedges I've had when actually there.
  
  Is it me or should I not expect the same serving size as I receive when I'm actually sitting there???
  
  So again, disappointed...  I will continue to eat at Tony's but I'm going to think twice before I order on line with them.
